Lisa Juckett

  • Description: Lisa Juckett, PhD, OTR/L, is an Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy at The Ohio State University's College of Medicine. Dr. Juckett research focuses on bridging the gap between empirical discoveries and the use of these discoveries in real-world practice settings. Heavily informed by the field of implementation science, Dr. Juckett research examines the factors and strategies that influence evidence-based practice use, primarily in organizations that serve older adults. Her work has been funded by entities such as the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Administration for Community Living, and the American Occupational Therapy Foundation. Active involvement of community and clinical partners is a hallmark characteristic of Dr. Juckett research, resulting in productive collaborations with national, regional, and local organizations that provide critical health and human services to the older adult community.
