Dr. Jamie Wilcox
- Description: Dr. Jamie Wilcox, MPH, OTD, OTR/L is an Associate Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC) and a lead clinician at Keck Medical Center of USC, specializing in pulmonary disease, organ transplant, post-COVID conditions, and critical care rehabilitation. Dr. Wilcox directs OT programming for long COVID populations at Keck Medicine of USC and consults for the multidisciplinary COVID Recovery Clinic. She also serves as a clinical practice consultant for the American Occupational Therapy Association, focusing on population health needs and emerging clinical practices for those with acute and chronic COVID-19 conditions. In 2021, Dr. Wilcox received an Innovation Award from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) for her leadership in the profession national response to the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically in early rehabilitation of critically ill hospitalized patients and outpatient programming for individuals with post-COVID syndrome. To further her impact on health outcomes at a population level, Dr. Wilcox earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the USC Keck School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Wilcox teaches in the USC Chan Division of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy doctoral program and trains OT doctoral residents and students in clinical settings.
